Top 3 Reasons to Love Denver

Last October I spontaneously decided to spend my 27th bday in Denver, thanks to a flight deal from Frontier (I feel like this airline has a bad rep but I had a great experience!) Also, being that Denver always makes the best place to live list, I just had to see what the hype was about…all except for it wasn’t the hype. This city was truly amazing AND affordable! Like… I would legit pack my things up & move there one day. Here’s why:

Friendly People

The people are sooooo NICE. Now, many will say it’s because of the legalization of weed LOL but regardless I really appreciated the Midwest hospitality. P.S. you will be warned by everyone to drink A LOT of water, and you should because the high altitude is no joke!

Bomb Food!

One word…Reverly. The most delicious food in such a random part of Denver. Best BACON crab Benedict everrrrrr. Chorizo hash. Breakfast Philly cheesesteak. Oh and how could I forget…$12 unlimited mimosas! BOMB.com. U gotta check it out.

Gin Mill on Thursday’s— free admission for ladies and you drink free all night + drinks are $5 for guys. Beer pong in the club, great vibes. Marquis pizza after is a must!

Denver Biscuit Co— Yes another food place. Denver is truly a foodie town so take advantage. This place is pure gluttony at its finest. I got the Franklin biscuit–fried chicken + bacon + house made gravy= heaven.

Scenery

Rino District Street Art– If you love graffiti you should definitely check this area out when you’re in town. There’s a lot of cute shops and restaurants around too. We rented scooters and rode through alleys to see all the amazing IG worthy art.

Red Rocks— Now, theres a ton of places around Denver to hike but if you’re making a city trip like I was, Red Rocks is the most convenient and its a super easy trail. It’s also famous for it’s concerts. The views are amazing!

Dispensaries- I mean..only if you’re into that kinda thing…this is definitely the place for it. *I heard* Rocky Mountain High was a dope spot ?

*Bonus* Swing Thai. LEGIT the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life.

So of course there’s more reasons to love Denver but you’ll just have to make a trip to find out for yourself! If you’ve been, what are your favorite things to do? Let me know in the comments section below!
